Tasty Easy Beef Brisket


Ingredients


·         2lbs Beef Brisket (pierce with fork on both sides to allow for marinade to penetrate meat)

·         ¼ cup Heinz Ketchup

·         ¼ cup Maple Syrup

·         2 tbsp diced Shallots

·         1 tbsp Kosher Salt

·         1 tbsp Black Pepper

·         2 tbsp Smoked Paprika

·         ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper


Directions


Put all ingredients (except for the beef brisket) in a storage container and shake well until mixed. Reserve ¼ cup of this marinade. Place flank steak in a bag with the remaining marinade and make sure the meat is well coated.

Marinate the steak for 1-3 hours. Grill brisket for 6-8 minutes each side. Wrap brisket in foil and bake it in the oven for 1½ hours.

Remove and brush with reserved marinate. Let it rest for 3-5 minutes before slicing.
